About The Baker
Donna Marone has been baking for family and friends for more than 25 years. For her, parties and gatherings always end with something sweet.

She started out building a list of dessert favorites for the holidays. After years of baking at home, she went to culinary school to perfect the craft of pastry arts. Now, Something Sweet offers homemade desserts for all occasions.

And she'd like to share those confections with you.

“I’ve always been a creative person; by nature I enjoy solving problems and creating unique solutions.  But food, and specifically dessert, has always been a passion of mine.

I wanted the company to have a unique name that represented my upbringing and characterized my experiences.  One of my favorite memories was when I was 9 years old, watching my great-aunts bake bread. I soon learned their craft and now all these years later, I’m happy to share some of my family’s favorite sweets with you.  We love to end every meal with Something Sweet and I hope you will too.”

Donna Marone, a transplanted marketing executive, resides in Westchester County, New York, with her husband and son.  She lives by the thought that, at the end of every good meal or party, Everyone Needs A Little Something Sweet.
